Adventures in La-La Land

You don’t have to go to a huge expensive film school to learn what you need to know. I went to one of the cheapest schools in my state for film/media studies & I I learned alot, & I’m graduating with zero debt. Just know that there are other options.

Oh trust me I know. I’ve explored the options for quite some time. Even considered nixing school all together because I was already working in the industry and learning the ropes. I just decided I wanted to learn everything properly. This was pretty much my cheapest option and it’s close enough to my house that I don’t have to pay additional housing expenses. Buuuuuut it seems to be a no go..at least for now. Thank you for the advice though. What school are you going to?

So much for my optimism and trying to be spontaneous and doing something with my life. As of right now neither me nor my parents have a dime for me to go to school. We’re in debt and living to pay check but apparently we’re just not poor enough for the government to spot me some cash. I can’t even take out loans because without a co-signer (which I don’t have) I still have to pay $20,000 out of pocket. So basically I either miraculously find a shit ton of money, wait until I’m 24 to go to school so I can file as an independent, or get married. Anyone want to fake marry me? Anyone?
